For those who have more than they need, or have what they can no longer use, the FaithWorks ministry of DOUMC helps connect these items with people and families in the community who need them.
For Those Who Can Give…
If you have new or gently-used items that you would like to contribute to the FaithWorks ministry, there are bins and tables set up in the Community Hall entrance to the church. You are welcome to come and drop off items when the church is open (Monday and Wednesday mornings, stop by the main entrance), or you can reach out to the church via e-mail or phone to schedule a time to drop off.
In addition to clothing and shoes, FaithWorks welcomes donations of children’s items (toys, diapers, supplies) as well as other household items. For a detailed list of what we do or do not accept, please contact the church.
For Those In Need…
The FaithWorks ministry opens its doors to the community on the 3rd Friday of every month (except June and July) from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, located in the Community Hall of the Otterbein UMC Church building.
All those who have a need are welcome, regardless of faith; and all items are provided at no cost to those who need them.
